We’ve officially reached that annoying time of year where it’s sweater weather in the morning, but by midday you die from a heatstroke.

Thank you so much! Seriously, it always lifts me up when you respond to my posts.   I’ve been really loving to post selfies recently, as the change in my skin has been phenomenal.  Self esteem through the roof lol.

Well, after hours on hours of searching through ingredients and researching drugstore foundations, I bought a $40 foundation.

With my skin now being dry, clog-prone, and so sensitive that anything touching it causes stinging… drugstore foundations just didn’t seem to be a good option.  I had been using the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse but I had already hit pan on it after like 2 week.  That foundation is $20.40/ounce and it stung while accentuating my flakes.

So, long story short, I picked up the Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation which, at $23.66/ounce, really wasn’t that overpriced.

This is my makeup all done today and I LOVE this stuff so far.  The coverage is light but it smoothed out my skin and hid my undereye darkness.  It tingles slightly, but doesn’t string like the other foundations I’ve tried.  I can’t feel that I am wearing foundation and at 75% water, I’m hoping I won’t get any acne from it.  Luke said “If I didn’t know you were wearing foundation, I wouldn’t think that you are.  It does even your skin though.”

It breathes some life back into my dull skin.  I’m just feeling really great about it right now.
